Breadth/Depth 폐지 → 5개 학과 단독 시험

2024년 4월부터 NCEES는 기존의 "공통 부문(breadth) + 전공 심화(depth)" 통합 형식을 폐지했습니다. 이제 PE Civil 시험은 다음 5개 학과 중 1개를 선택해서 단독으로 응시합니다:

  • Construction (시공)
  • Geotechnical (지반공학)
  • Structural (구조)
  • Transportation (교통)
  • Water Resources & Environmental (수자원·환경)

각 시험은 80문항이며, 선택한 학과의 breadth 주제도 포함됩니다.

Breadth/Depth Eliminated → 5 Discipline-Specific Exams

Starting April 2024, NCEES discontinued the combined "breadth + depth" format. The PE Civil exam is now offered as 5 standalone discipline exams — candidates choose ONE:

  • Civil: Construction
  • Civil: Geotechnical
  • Civil: Structural
  • Civil: Transportation
  • Civil: Water Resources & Environmental

Each exam contains 80 questions, with breadth-level topics now integrated into the chosen discipline.
